About the Credit Controller Role at Bureau Veritas

Bureau Veritas is seeking a Credit Controller to join its team in Al Khobar, Eastern Region. This full-time position plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate client accounts and ensuring efficient financial operations. The role operates in alignment with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, adhering to the BV Code of Ethics and BV Group policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and collect payments from a designated customer portfolio.
  • Investigate and resolve customer payment issues and disputes.
  • Escalate non-routine concerns or proposed solutions to a supervisor for approval.
  • Collaborate with team members to maximize cash flow, minimize risk, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Meet monthly financial goals and targets set by management.
  • Monitor and work to reduce the Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) for the assigned area.
  • Conduct customer visits to obtain balance confirmations and maintain healthy Accounts Receivable (AR) balances.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure consistent payment flow.
  • Issue dunning letters to alert customers of overdue invoices.
  • Perform account reconciliations and balance confirmations.
  • Undertake other reasonable duties as assigned by the line manager.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a credit control or similar financial role.
  • Experience within the range of 5-10 years is preferred.

Required Skills and Qualities

  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills for interacting with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Work Environment
