The purpose of the job: To carry out all purchasing operations for the company's projects and needs for materials and supplies, ensuring timely delivery at the best quality and price, supporting the workflow in engineering and contracting projects.
Tasks and Responsibilities:- Conduct daily purchasing operations for construction materials, equipment, and related technical services
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and contractors to obtain the best prices and payment terms
- Prepare price quotation requests, analyze them, and provide appropriate recommendations
- Ensure suppliers comply with the required technical specifications and schedules
- Coordinate with technical and engineering departments to determine project needs
- Review contracts and invoices to ensure they match the agreed terms
- Follow up with relevant authorities to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Adhere to the company's approved purchasing policies and procedures
- Maintain an accurate database of approved suppliers and evaluate their performance periodically
Required Qualifications: - Experience in purchasing, preferably in the contracting or engineering consulting sector
- Good knowledge of construction materials and technical specifications
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to analyze offers
- Familiarity with electronic purchasing systems and project management software
- Valid driving license (if the job requires field travel)
