About the Role

Rotana Hotels is seeking a qualified Electrician to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern Region. This is a full-time position for professionals with 5-10 years of experience in electrical maintenance and installation. The role focuses on ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems within the hotel complex.

Job Purpose

The Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. This role ensures that all electrical work adheres to relevant codes and safety standards, contributing to the overall operational efficiency and safety of the hotel's infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) and HVAC equipment within the hotel, with a strong emphasis on health and safety.
• Execute maintenance and repair works for all mechanical and electrical heating and ventilation equipment to ensure continuous safe and efficient hotel operation.
• Repair mains/domestic single and three-phase supplied distribution systems, as well as all lighting and in-house power installations/appliances.
• Provide assistance with all emergency services, including fire alarms, lighting, batteries, and standby power requirements, such as generators.
• Manage control systems for M&E related processes, including general equipment, televisions, hair dryers, shaver sockets, and all guest and service lifts.
• Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the precise location of wiring and equipment, ensuring compliance with building and safety codes.
• Utilize a variety of tools and equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment including oscilloscopes, ammeters, and test lamps.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Electrician with a diploma in electro-technical services.
• Basic high school or college qualification.
• Proven knowledge in the operation and electrical maintenance of relevant equipment.
• 5-10 years of experience in a similar role.
