Electrician

About the Electrician Role

Marriott International is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time position is critical for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all electrical systems within our facilities. The Electrician will be responsible for the assembly, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical and electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures. Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in electrical work.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Inspect and diagnose malfunctioning tools, equipment, electrical systems, apparatus, and components.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications and current National Electric Code and local codes.
• Read and accurately follow blueprints and schematics.

Technical Operations and Maintenance

• Utilize testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure proper functionality.
• Test batteries in generators, emergency lighting, and other essential systems.
• Respond to repair requests and perform preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and appliances.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition necessary parts and supplies.

Safety and Compliance

• Adhere to all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
• Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications, and properly store flammable materials.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

Additional Duties

The Electrician will also be expected to perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors, contributing to the overall operational excellence of Marriott International in Jeddah.
