About the Role

Rotana Hotels is seeking a Head Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time position is central to ensuring exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service within the hotel. The role focuses on providing professional, customer-focused service and contributing to a memorable stay for all guests.

Role Purpose

The Head Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department. This involves leading a team of Housekeeping Supervisors and Room Attendants, ensuring efficient task allocation, and upholding the hotel's standards for cleanliness, maintenance, and guest satisfaction. The role requires a hands-on approach to supervision and a commitment to quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assign tasks to Housekeeping Supervisors and Room Attendants, maintaining a visible presence on the floors.
  • Inspect the maintenance of equipment used by employees, ensuring proper cleaning and storage.
  • Oversee the correct and economical use of cleaning agents, ensuring their safe storage.
  • Ensure all day-to-day maintenance issues are reported promptly and followed up on.
  • Verify that all vacuuming, polishing, carpet care, and general cleaning are performed professionally and according to established schedules.
  • Implement training programs for all team members, ensuring they understand their role's purpose and required standards.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all products and services provided by the Housekeeping Department.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A degree in Hospitality is preferred.
  • Demonstrated previous experience within the Housekeeping Department of a hotel.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
