About the Role

Guardian Jobs is seeking a Humanities Teacher for a leading British International School located in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This full-time position is for the upcoming academic year, commencing September 2026. The role involves teaching Humanities at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels, following the Pearson Edexcel curriculum.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver high-quality Humanities education to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This includes curriculum delivery, lesson planning, assessment, and fostering a positive learning environment in line with the Pearson Edexcel framework.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor’s Degree, accompanied by a PGCE or QTS, obtained from a UK institution.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching experience post-qualification.
• Demonstrated experience teaching Humanities up to GCSE level. Experience teaching A Level is considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with the Pearson Edexcel curricula, preferably gained within a UK or British International School setting.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary starting from 169,000 SAR (approximately £35,000), which is tax-free. The package also includes accommodation or an allowance, transportation, medical insurance, return flights, and a work visa.
