Pace | Architecture, Engineering + Planning is seeking a Mechanical Inspector to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern Region. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring that mechanical installations and systems adhere to project specifications and standards. The role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and a keen eye for detail to monitor installation processes, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Role Overview

The Mechanical Inspector will be responsible for overseeing the execution of mechanical works on-site. This involves a blend of technical expertise and practical experience to effectively communicate with contractors and project managers, ensuring all mechanical aspects of a project are completed to the required standards. The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining high quality and safety throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the installation of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with mechanical specifications and standards.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation of findings for project stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering practices.
• Review and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications to verify accuracy and completeness.
• Supervise and manage processes related to site work preparation, execution, verification, and validation of Contractor’s submissions and site works.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical inspection or a related field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and construction practices.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, within the Eastern Region. The role involves regular site visits and collaboration with various project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
