Commissioning Inspector Mechanical

About the Role

AESG is seeking a Commissioning Inspector Mechanical to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves working as part of a multi-discipline project team to conduct site inspections and verify test results. The role requires developing knowledge of commissioning processes and test procedures within the engineering discipline.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry codes of practice through diligent site inspections and verification of tested results. The inspector will contribute to the project team by applying and expanding their knowledge of mechanical commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior personnel in carrying out commissioning activities.
• Develop knowledge in the chosen discipline and understand how different systems interact in buildings.
• Conduct site inspections within the selected discipline.
• Assess whether test procedures and recorded results comply with project specifications and industry codes of practice.
• Assist with reviewing project documentation for compliance with project specifications and industry codes of practice.
• Report identified issues to senior team members clearly, accurately, and concisely.
• Liaise professionally with the contractor's commissioning team.
• Carry out site observations regarding the quality of installation.
• Monitor installation, submittals, and the use of engineering tools, adhering to project and commissioning guidelines.
• Assist with tracking task completion and preparing lookahead documents.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience is required.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn commissioning processes and test procedures in an engineering discipline.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a multi-discipline project team.
