Senior Engineer II Cybersecurity Engineering

About the Role

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Engineer II Cybersecurity Engineering to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time role focuses on the technical execution and delivery of lifecycle OT & IT Cybersecurity solutions and services for external customers. The Senior Engineer will lead the technical implementation of cybersecurity solutions, conduct site visits for maintenance, provide training, and offer cybersecurity consulting.

Role Overview

As the Cybersecurity Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical execution and delivery of cybersecurity solutions to clients. This includes managing the implementation of these solutions, conducting site visits to maintain the cybersecurity solution, providing cybersecurity training, and consulting on cybersecurity matters as needed. You will also ensure that the necessary cybersecurity infrastructure supports Schneider Electric applications and may be involved in gathering and defining requirements for cybersecurity projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a principal technical consultant, providing strategic and complex expertise to customers in the Cybersecurity domain and mentoring other consultants.
• Lead and manage cybersecurity projects for OT systems and networks, including planning, execution, and delivery.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity controls and safeguards to protect OT systems and networks.
• Assess and analyze the cybersecurity posture of OT systems and networks, identify vulnerabilities and risks, and recommend remediation measures.
• Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments on OT systems and networks.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines for OT systems and networks.
• Provide expert guidance and consulting on OT cybersecurity best practices and technologies.
• Assist with the design, configuration, and maintenance of cybersecurity controls for OT systems and networks.
• Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure the integration of cybersecurity into OT projects and operations.
• Stay updated with the latest OT cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
• Develop and deliver OT cybersecurity training to customers and team members.
• Respond to cybersecurity incidents and provide guidance on remediation efforts.
• Lead Cybersecurity factory and site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT).
• Create and present technical documentation as needed (FDS, DDS, FAT, MOS, etc.).

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering.
• Demonstrated proficiency in providing strategic and technically complex expertise in the Cybersecurity domain.
• Experience in leading and managing cybersecurity projects for OT systems and networks.
• Proven ability to develop and implement cybersecurity controls and safeguards.
• Experience with security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments.

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, Eastern region, within Schneider Electric. The role involves working with external customers and collaborating with internal teams to deliver comprehensive cybersecurity solutions.
