Senior Internal Auditor

About the Role

eXtra (United Electronics Co.) is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join its Internal Audit team. This full-time position is based in Al Khobar, Eastern Region, and requires 4-5 years of relevant experience. The role involves leading and executing audit assignments to ensure compliance and identify control gaps within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute Operational, Financial, and Special Audit assignments with a focus on quality and independence.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify key control gaps and prioritize audit areas.
• Develop audit programs, perform audit procedures, analyze evidence, and accurately document processes.
• Conduct interviews, review documents, prepare surveys, and maintain structured working papers.
• Identify audit issues and formulate clear, actionable recommendations using sound professional judgment.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders across all departments.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and support to Internal Auditors and Audit Specialists during audit engagements.
• Ensure compliance with Internal Audit standards, professional ethics, and IIA guidelines.
• Support continuous improvement through professional development and knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 4-5 years of experience in internal audit or a related field. This experience should include leading audit assignments and conducting risk assessments.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, within the Eastern Region. The Senior Internal Auditor will work as part of a dedicated Internal Audit team.
