We are looking for a qualified nutrition specialist to join the team at Afras Trading and Contracting Company.Job Description:They will be responsible for developing dietary and nutrition programs for patients and healthy individuals, preparing and maintaining documents and reports related to nutrition. Your role includes:
- Studying the nutritional values and calorie contents of various food types and estimating individual caloric needs.
- Studying various dietary programs and selecting or developing dietary programs for healthy individuals based on their nutritional and caloric needs.
- Preparing nutrition programs for patients in hospitals based on the recommendations of the treating physician and the patients' nutritional needs.
- Developing working methods and procedures and keeping up with developments in the field of nutrition.
- Preparing and maintaining nutrition-related documents and reports in their dedicated database according to the governing policies and procedures.
- Ensuring the application of general safety principles and rules while carrying out various nutrition-related tasks.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in General Biology, Animal Science, Public Health, Clinical Nutrition, or an unspecified specialization in health.
