Supervisor Food Services (Dry)

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Supervisor-Food Services (Dry) to join their team in Al Khobar. This full-time position requires an individual with 2-5 years of relevant experience to ensure optimal service delivery and guest satisfaction within food service operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure staff collaboration for optimum service and guest needs fulfillment.
• Inspect staff grooming and attire, addressing any deficiencies.
• Execute opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and securing areas.
• Monitor storage areas for organization, FIFO adherence, and cleanliness.
• Conduct scheduled inventories, stock, and requisition necessary supplies.
• Oversee dining rooms for seating, service quality, safety, and guest well-being.
• Submit work orders for maintenance repairs.
• Support management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Serve as a role model and initial contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies; report incidents and complete required training.
• Maintain a professional appearance, confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally, foster positive working relationships, and support team goals.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and identify improvements for efficiency, productivity, and cost-savings.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats.
• Visual inspection of tools, equipment, or machines for defects.
• Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods or an entire shift.
• Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Grasping, turning, and manipulating objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Navigating narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Moving up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None required.

Work Environment

This is a full-time role within the food services department, requiring active participation in daily operations and team supervision to maintain high standards of service.
