The Planning Specialist Role

The Planning Specialist will operate within the Infrastructure Projects & Business Smart Transformation Governance Program. This role is crucial for ensuring the effective planning, oversight, and control of various infrastructure projects, contributing to the successful execution of the program's objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and managing comprehensive project schedules for infrastructure projects.
• Monitoring and tracking project progress against established timelines and milestones.
• Implementing and maintaining robust cost and schedule control systems.
• Preparing and distributing detailed reports on project status, performance, and forecasts across all assigned infrastructure projects.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of overall professional experience in planning and controls.
• At least 4 years of this experience must be specifically within a Project Management Office (PMO) environment or on projects managed under PMO frameworks.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position, requiring a dedicated presence in Al Qassim, Al Qasim. The role involves working closely with project teams to ensure the smooth execution of infrastructure projects.
