Role Overview

KUWAIT STEEL is seeking a Mechanical & Utility Supervisor (PE1) to oversee the daily maintenance of mechanical systems and utilities within our Rolling Mills. Based in Al Qatif, this full-time position is critical for ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of our production facilities. The role requires an individual with foundational experience in industrial maintenance supervision, focused on maintaining operational reliability.

Key Responsibilities

The Mechanical & Utility Supervisor will be responsible for a range of critical duties, including:

• Supervising and coordinating all mechanical and utility maintenance activities within the Rolling Mills.
• Ensuring the timely execution of preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance tasks.
• Leading and guiding technicians in proper equipment care and maintenance procedures.
• Planning and authorizing maintenance schedules to optimize operational efficiency.
• Auditing maintenance records to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.
• Liaising with production and other support functions to secure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
• Allocating manpower effectively to various maintenance tasks and projects.
• Validating work records for completed maintenance activities to ensure proper documentation.
• Escalating critical breakdowns, procurement approvals, or strategic maintenance decisions to the Engineer II.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess the following:

• 0-1 years of experience in mechanical and utility maintenance supervision, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• A strong understanding of mechanical systems and utility operations relevant to rolling mills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team of technicians and manage maintenance schedules effectively.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based at our facilities in Al Qatif. The role requires consistent on-site presence to effectively supervise daily maintenance operations and ensure immediate response to operational needs.
