PS Technical Sales Support Engineer

About the Role

Schlumberger is seeking a PS Technical Sales Support Engineer to drive aftermarket, spare parts, and brownfield business development across Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. This full-time position is based in Al Qatif and focuses on facilities within the GOSP, oil & gas, refineries, petrochemical, and seawater sectors. The role leverages Schlumberger's legacy Cameron installed base to build customer relationships and convert operational needs into opportunities across the Process Technologies & Solutions (PTS) lifecycle-services portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and develop the legacy Cameron installed base, identifying aftermarket, upgrade, replacement, service, and lifecycle opportunities.
• Drive spare-parts business for the Geounit and ensure customers maintain appropriate and up-to-date spare-parts inventories.
• Review installed equipment and customer spare-parts requirements, identify obsolete, discontinued, or at-risk components, and proactively implement Schlumberger spares obsolescence/replacement programs.
• Develop installed-base strategies to increase equipment reliability, availability, and lifecycle value.

Candidate Requirements

• Establish a strong network across Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Reliability, Procurement, and Projects departments.
• Understand facility procurement routes, decision makers, specifications, approved-vendor requirements, and purchasing processes.
• Conduct regular facility visits to understand operations, troubleshoot issues, and identify customer pain points.
• Utilize the installed base as a door opener to expand Schlumberger relationships within the facility.

Experience and Qualifications

This role requires 5+ years of relevant experience. Candidates should demonstrate a foundational understanding of technical sales support principles and customer relationship management within industrial settings.

Work Location

This position is based in Al Qatif, Saudi Arabia, and involves travel across Saudi Arabia and Bahrain to various customer facilities.
