The Role of Transport Supervisor

ASMO is seeking a Transport Supervisor for its SPARK Site in Buqayq, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing transport operations for chemical disposal and logistics hubs across ASMO. The supervisor is responsible for coordinating and monitoring material movement, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations, and optimizing efficiency within transport processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the transport team to ensure timely and safe movement of materials.
• Plan and allocate transportation resources to meet delivery requirements.
• Monitor transport operations, including vehicle dispatch, routing, and tracking.
• Collaborate with drivers and transport coordinators to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Identify and resolve any issues or delays in transport operations.
• Train and develop transport team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices to increase productivity and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet departmental requirements, policies, and standards.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Transport Supervisor position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in transport operations or a related field. The role requires a strong understanding of logistics, transportation regulations, and safety standards.

This is a full-time position based at the SPARK Site in Buqayq, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a dynamic environment focused on optimizing logistics and supply chain services for industrial sectors.
