About the Role: Head of Capacity

J&T Express is seeking a Head of Capacity to join our team in Buraydah, Al Qasim. This full-time role is central to planning, managing, and optimizing delivery capacity, ensuring sufficient manpower and fleet resources are available to meet operational demands. The Head of Capacity will oversee critical aspects of capacity planning, driver/rider management, performance monitoring, and coordination with branches to maintain efficient and reliable delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage capacity plans based on business volume, forecasts, and operational requirements.
• Ensure sufficient driver/rider capacity across branches and operational areas.
• Monitor daily capacity, utilization, productivity, attendance, and service performance.
• Identify capacity gaps and take timely actions to address shortages.
• Lead recruitment and onboarding plans for drivers/riders and other capacity-related positions.
• Manage and optimize driver/rider allocation according to business demand.
• Coordinate closely with Branch Managers, Operations, HR, and Recruitment teams.
• Analyze operational data and prepare regular capacity and performance reports.
• Develop market mapping and sourcing strategies to attract and retain qualified drivers/riders.
• Monitor market trends, competitor practices, and local labor market conditions.
• Establish and track KPIs related to capacity, utilization, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and Saudi labor and transportation regulations.
• Handle capacity-related escalations and provide practical solutions to operational challenges.
• Continuously improve capacity planning processes and reduce operational gaps and costs.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in capacity planning, fleet management, logistics, transportation, or delivery operations.
• Strong experience in the Saudi logistics/delivery market.
• Proven experience managing large driver/rider or fleet operations.
• Strong understanding of capacity planning, workforce planning, and operational forecasting.
• Experience working with operational KPIs and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel and operational management systems.
• Good command of English; Arabic is preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced operational environment.

Preferred Background

• Experience in last-mile delivery, courier, e-commerce, logistics, or transportation companies.

• Knowledge of the Saudi transportation and delivery market.
• Prior experience in courier, express delivery, or e-commerce platforms.
