Join our team at DallahHealth as a Pharmacy Technician!

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists with preparing and distributing medications, maintaining drug inventory, and managing patient records. Working under the supervision of a registered pharmacist in accordance with the Ministry of Health regulations, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical services.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist pharmacists in filling pharmacy requisitions, prescriptions, and maintaining essential records.
Order, receive, unpack, and store pharmaceuticals and supplies correctly.
Prepackage tablets and capsules for dispensing and ensure all products are labeled accurately.
Participate in bulk manufacturing of pharmaceutical products and operate manufacturing equipment.
Prepare intravenous solutions and reconstitute bulk additives as needed.
Maintain an inventory of drugs while monitoring expiration dates.
Coordinate quality improvement programs within your responsibilities.
Engage in patient and family education to enhance understanding of care.
Perform additional tasks as directed by the Pharmacy Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements:

Essential: Knowledge of computers, pharmacy calculations, terminology, and drug classifications.
Desirable: Two years of experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.
Essential: Diploma in Pharmacy from an accredited institution with a professional registration certificate.
Desirable: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college.
