Receiving & Data Entry Specialist

About the Role

SAPT is seeking a Receiving & Data Entry Specialist to join its team in Al Qassim, specifically in Buraydah. This full-time, onsite role is critical for ensuring accurate and efficient receiving of goods and precise data entry within a supermarket or hypermarket environment, supporting warehouse and inventory operations for FMCG and grocery products. The position requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods from suppliers and distributors in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Verify received quantities against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documents.
• Inspect the condition, packaging, barcodes, specifications, and expiry dates of products.
• Identify and report shortages, excess products, damaged, or non-conforming items to the direct supervisor.
• Accurately prepare and process Goods Received Note (GRN) documents.
• Enter receiving and product data correctly into the company's system.
• Handle daily data entry tasks and maintain accurate electronic and paper records.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry, reconciliation, and report preparation.
• Ensure supplier invoices and delivery documents are reviewed and properly documented.
• Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, inventory, accounting, and operations teams regarding any receiving discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with FIFO / FEFO procedures based on product type.
• Follow all approved receiving policies and procedures.
• Organize and maintain all receiving documents, invoices, and records.
• Contribute to improving inventory accuracy, minimizing receiving errors, and reducing operational losses.
• Immediately report any significant anomalies or irregularities in receiving operations to supervision or management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience receiving goods in a supermarket or hypermarket within Saudi Arabia.
• Experience in receiving FMCG, food, and consumer goods products.
• Strong skills in reviewing invoices and quantities.
• Hands-on experience with GRN or goods receiving systems.
• Proficiency in computer use and data entry.
• Practical proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to read and write in both Arabic and English.
• High school diploma as a minimum qualification.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, integrity, and the ability to work under pressure and long hours.
• Knowledge of supplier invoices, purchase orders, delivery documents, barcodes, quantities, and product specifications.
• Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with suppliers and internal departments.

Preferred Qualifications

• University degree or higher education qualification.
• Previous experience specifically handling large volumes of FMCG products.
• Knowledge of inventory procedures and stock management in retail or supermarket environments.
• Familiarity with document organization and archiving processes.
• Experience in FIFO / FEFO application in inventory management systems.
