About the Role

Al Tuwairqi Group is seeking an Assistant Technician, Mechanical Maintenance to join our team in Dammam. This full-time position is integral to supporting the mechanical management's objectives for equipment upkeep and operational efficiency within our facilities.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The Assistant Technician will contribute to achieving the mechanical management's goals for equipment maintenance and ensuring operational wellness. A primary focus of this role is adhering to safety instructions to enhance overall plant productivity and maintain a secure working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting practices specifically within the rolling mill environment.
• Collaborate effectively with senior mechanical technicians to execute general maintenance work orders.
• Understand the intended outcomes of maintenance plans to ensure timely completion and quality implementation of tasks.
• Report on relevant activities and provide status updates for assigned maintenance tasks.
• Perform mill maintenance fittings work as required.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) Compliance

• Ensure safety aspects are maintained within the workplace, concerning tools, facilities, and among subordinates.
• Understand and strictly follow organizational Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) policies.
• Be familiar with all safety instructions pertinent to the job role.
• Maintain provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) in good, workable condition.
• Report any accidents, near misses, or hazardous conditions promptly to the concerned responsible personnel.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance or a related field. A foundational understanding of mechanical principles and a commitment to safety protocols are essential for success in this position.
