Business Development Specialist

About the Role

DowMartin, a leading global technical services company, is seeking a Business Development Specialist to support the growth and expansion of its operations in Dammam, Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on identifying and developing new business opportunities within the energy, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding client relationships, generating qualified leads, and supporting the conversion of opportunities into successful contracts. The role requires strong knowledge of the Saudi market, an established professional network, and a proven ability to develop relationships with clients across relevant industrial, energy, oil & gas, and infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development activities to support the company's growth strategy in Saudi Arabia.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across existing and new markets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, contractors, consultants, and key industry stakeholders.
• Proactively identify upcoming projects, tenders, contracts, and market opportunities relevant to the company's services.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify potential growth areas and emerging opportunities.
• Work closely with technical, operations, and proposal teams to ensure client requirements are properly understood and addressed.
• Manage opportunities through the sales pipeline, from initial lead generation through qualification, proposal, and contract award.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, client contacts, and business development activities.
• Represent the company professionally in meetings, exhibitions, conferences, and industry events.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, preferably within technical services, inspection, testing, certification, asset integrity, geotechnical, or engineering solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Proven track record of expanding client relationships and generating qualified leads.
• Strong understanding of the Saudi market and established professional networks within relevant sectors.
