About the Role

Air Arabia is seeking dedicated Cabin Crew members for full-time positions in the Eastern region, specifically in Dammam and Riyadh. This role is central to the airline's commitment to customer satisfaction and safety. The Cabin Crew acts as an ambassador for Air Arabia, striving to achieve customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall passenger experience. This position requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legality for all assigned flights.
  • Attend pre-flight briefings to review flight details, role distribution, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
  • Instruct passengers on safety procedures to ensure their safety and comfort throughout the flight.
  • Identify safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Administer first aid to passengers as necessary.
  • Promptly inform the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
  • Welcome passengers and assist with boarding formalities; accurately enter necessary data into the aircraft logbook.
  • Provide consistent excellent customer service by attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
  • Identify and assist passengers experiencing stress or difficulties in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to maximizing on-board revenue and the “Charity Cloud” program by promoting meals, products, and charity services to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Ensure proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for sales and donations.
  • Conduct pre-flight checks for sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items; report any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
  • Assist in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before flying.
  • Ensure an orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
  • Carry out post-flight briefings and assessment reports as per adopted policies, including objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting flight discrepancies.
  • Account to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct; perform Cabin Supervisor duties when designated by the Captain.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

Candidates for this role should possess 0-1 years of experience and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and customer service. Essential requirements include:

  • Medically fit to fly, with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Presentable, friendly, and capable of maintaining a cheerful and positive attitude even under stress.
  • Customer service oriented, adept at understanding and attending to customer needs and requests.
  • Capable of handling difficult situations and challenging customers professionally without compromising the corporate image.
  • Focused, able to identify irregularities and manage threats and emergencies with efficiency and commitment to successful results.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, demonstrating initiative and positive teamwork competency.
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Possession of a current license relevant to cabin crew operations.

Work Environment and Expectations

This is a full-time position that requires working in shift patterns and for extended hours. Candidates must demonstrate high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules inherent in the airline industry. The role involves continuous interaction with passengers and collaboration with flight and ground crew to ensure operational efficiency and passenger satisfaction.

Cabin Crew members are expected to maintain professional and safety knowledge through continuous learning. This includes attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, and educational workshops. The role also involves contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
