About the Role

Matar Al-Baqami Holding is seeking a dedicated and precise Cashier to join our team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience and focuses on managing financial transactions accurately and efficiently within our operations.

Role Purpose

The Cashier will be responsible for handling customer payments, maintaining meticulous daily cash records, and reconciling cash balances. A key aspect of this role involves providing excellent customer service while ensuring strict compliance with company financial policies and procedures at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive payments via cash, credit/debit card, and other accepted methods from customers.
• Issue accurate receipts, invoices, and payment confirmations for all transactions.
• Maintain precise records of all cash transactions throughout the shift.
• Reconcile the cash drawer at both the beginning and end of each working shift.
• Deposit cash collections in accordance with established company procedures.
• Prepare daily cash reports and submit them to the Finance Department.
• Process refunds, exchanges, and resolve payment discrepancies following company policies.
• Ensure the cash counter area remains organized, clean, and secure at all times.
• Assist customers professionally with any payment-related inquiries or issues.
• Coordinate effectively with the Finance and Accounts team regarding daily collections and reporting.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial information handled.
• Comply fully with all company policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a cashier or similar role.
• Proven experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern Province. The role requires consistent presence and engagement during operational hours within a customer-facing environment.
