About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Dermatology Consultant to join its medical team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time position involves providing expert dermatological care, diagnosing and treating patients, and contributing to the continuous improvement of clinic services. The Consultant will play a vital role in patient education and supporting the professional development of junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine patients, take comprehensive medical histories, and document findings accurately.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to diagnose injuries or illnesses effectively.
• Design and execute individualized patient care plans, including prescribing appropriate medications.
• Educate patients on their health conditions, necessary investigations, treatment options, medication use, and preventive healthcare practices.
• Fulfill all obligations related to patient records and ensure their accuracy and completeness.
• Perform specialty-specific tasks and exercise clinical privileges in accordance with training, experience, skills, and Saudi health council guidelines.
• Adhere to all Nahdi Care Clinics (NCC) Policies and Procedures, Bylaws, Strategic Plan, Rules & Regulations, and CBAHI standards of care.
• Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with other departments, local agencies, vendors, patients, and their families.
• Support top management with recommendations and ideas for improving services and staff performance within the clinic.

Professional Development and Collaboration

The Dermatology Consultant will actively contribute to a culture of continuous learning and professional excellence within the clinic.

• Provide second opinions for specialists and senior specialists to ensure knowledge sharing and adherence to best practices.
• Support the Medical Director, as needed, in the performance management process for specialists and senior specialists by providing objective evaluations.
• Actively participate in all assigned NCC Committees and Task Forces.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and ensure compliance with Clinical, MOH, and CBAHI quality standards and regulations.
• Contribute to the continuous professional development of all junior staff.
• Develop, participate in, and support active Continuing Medical Education programs for the assigned section, department, or clinic.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in Dermatology.
• Licensed as a Consultant in the related specialty from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
• Demonstrated evidence-based practice orientation.
• Ability to integrate population factors of heritage, environment, and disease prevalence into patient care.

Work Environment

This full-time position operates within a clinical setting, adhering to a structured work schedule.

• Work Location: 100% indoors.
• Working Days: 6 working days per week.
• Days Off: 1 day off per week.
• Working Hours: 8 net working hours per day, based on a shift schedule approved by the head of department.
• Compliance: Completes fire safety requirements and complies with clinical and departmental structure standards, including attendance.
