About the Role

Ajdan is seeking a Design Manager to lead and manage the design process for various developments. This full-time position is based in Dammam, Eastern Region, and involves overseeing projects from initial briefing through to handover. The role ensures design outcomes align with project vision, strategy, and quality expectations.

Role Context and Scope

The Design Manager will be responsible for the full design journey across luxury residential, hospitality, commercial, and mixed-use developments. This includes providing feasibility support, developing concepts, coordinating design efforts, and managing consultants. The role also involves securing authority approvals, supporting tender processes, coordinating construction, and managing project handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design process from project briefing to handover.
• Provide support for project feasibility studies.
• Develop and refine design concepts.
• Coordinate design activities across all project stages.
• Manage external design consultants.
• Secure necessary authority approvals.
• Support tender processes with design documentation.
• Coordinate design aspects during construction.
• Ensure design outcomes align with project vision, development strategy, and market positioning.
• Verify compliance with operational requirements, approved budgets, project timelines, and quality expectations.
• Safeguard design intent throughout all project stages.
• Balance technical requirements, commercial objectives, buildability, and long-term asset value.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, within the Eastern Region. The role involves working on a diverse portfolio of luxury residential, hospitality, commercial, and mixed-use developments, requiring close collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders.
