Desk Engineer Project Management Department

About the Role

GET Global Group is seeking a Desk Engineer for the Project Management Department. This full-time position is based in Dammam, Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on client relations and operational oversight within the Oil & Gas industry.

Role Overview

The Desk Engineer will serve as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring alignment between client expectations and company objectives. This position involves significant client interaction, including regular meetings and working from client offices to oversee operations and support field crews.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and align client expectations with company goals.
• Attend client meetings and meet with client operations teams frequently (at least 3-4 times per week).
• Work from client offices to oversee daily operations.
• Guide and support crew members on Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) matters, addressing concerns and escalating issues as necessary.
• Manage crew rotations and oversee the collection of timesheets.
• Assist in fulfilling new and additional crew requirements, including following up on CV approvals.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster business growth.
• Understand client operations and growth trajectories to enhance GET's presence and growth in the region.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Prior experience in client relations within the Oil & Gas sector is strongly encouraged.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
• Demonstrated strong client management skills.
• Ability to foster and contribute to business growth.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position primarily based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, with regular presence at client offices. The role requires active engagement with client operations teams and field crews.
