About the Field Service Engineer Role

NOV is seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer to join our team in Dammam. This full-time position involves ensuring the optimal performance and customer satisfaction of MDTotco systems through expert installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installations, repairs, servicing, inspections, and commissioning of all MDTotco products.
• Execute day-to-day operations, maintenance, and monitoring of MDTotco equipment to ensure peak performance.
• Provide daily activity reports to management.
• Clean, test, and repair parts and systems from inventory as assigned.
• Train clients on the proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Respond promptly to service requests and management directives, adhering to safety protocols.
• Undertake workshop-based tasks when required, ensuring the work area is cleaned and organized upon completion.
• Comply with all NOV Health, Safety, and Environment procedures and policies.
• Read and interpret instrumentation drawings, and correctly connect components and lay cables.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency in the English language.
• Familiarity with any Drilling Instrumentation system.
• Basic understanding of networking, electrical connection diagrams, and instrumentation principles.
• Completed coursework in basic electricity and electronics, with a strong awareness of safety practices when working with electrical circuits.
• Willingness to undertake international travel as required.
