About the Role

Applicantz is seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Operator Assessor to join its dedicated Certification Team. This contract position is based in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, and plays a critical role in supporting the pre-screening assessments of contractor staff for Saudi Aramco projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and certifying the competency of heavy equipment operators.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that all heavy equipment operators meet the stringent competency standards required for their assignments on Saudi Aramco projects. As an Assessor, you will contribute to maintaining operational safety and efficiency by accurately verifying operator skills and knowledge before deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct practical, hands-on performance assessments to evaluate heavy equipment operator proficiency.
• Administer written performance assessments to gauge operators' theoretical knowledge and understanding.
• Certify operator competency on various types of heavy equipment based on comprehensive assessment results.
• Support the pre-screening process for contractor staff designated for Saudi Aramco projects.

Required Experience

Candidates must possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in heavy equipment operation and assessment. This experience should demonstrate a proven ability to conduct thorough evaluations and certify operator competency effectively.

Role Clarifications

It is important for applicants to understand the specific scope of this role. This position is not an HSE/Safety Officer or Safety Auditor role. It also does not involve mechanical or equipment inspection (checking the machine itself). Furthermore, experience in "safety compliance checks" during audits will not be considered as operator assessment experience for this role.
