Role Overview

Flowserve is seeking an HSE Site Coordinator for a full-time position in Dammam. This role is crucial for driving a strong safety culture and ensuring operational compliance across facility operations. The coordinator will focus on maintaining workplace safety standards, leading continuous improvement initiatives, managing incident reporting, coordinating safety training, and ensuring full compliance with local Saudi Arabian HSE legislation and Flowserve corporate standards. The position requires 2-5 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of housekeeping and implement 5S in the facility, conducting audits every three months.
• Conduct daily walk-through safety inspections, report findings to the immediate supervisor, and log them in Sphera.
• Review local standards and ensure compliance requirements are communicated to the immediate supervisor and top management.
• Organize monthly HSE committee meetings and weekly toolbox meetings, providing necessary reports.
• Report all Near Miss, First Aid, Loss Time, environmental, fire, and vehicular incidents to Sphera, encouraging all associates to report observations.
• Review all reports in Sphera and regularly update the HSE RAIL.
• Manage environmental, health, and safety activities through strong leadership, communication, and motivation of the safety committee.
• Conduct rigorous incident investigations focused on prevention, root cause analysis, and injury prevention leading indicators.
• Coordinate safety training for all employees on Safety, Health, and Environmental matters.
• Develop and administer New Hire Orientation Safety Training.
• Investigate and maintain records for all work-related injuries and illnesses, provide statistical analysis, and assist department management in developing effective health and safety countermeasures.
• Serve as co-chair on the Joint Health and Safety Committee, coordinating activities, recommendations, and accountability for issues identified by safety regulations and Flowserve corporate audits.
• Conduct monthly workplace safety audits, establish measurable standards, and follow up on recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate emergency evacuation procedures, training, and practice drills.
• Ensure all environmental reports pertaining to air, storm water, and sanitary sewer discharge permits are submitted accurately and on time.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a related HSE role.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain workplace safety standards and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Experience with incident reporting, root cause analysis, and safety training coordination.
• Strong understanding of local Saudi Arabian HSE legislation and corporate safety standards.
• Proficiency in implementing and maintaining 5S methodologies.
