Role Summary: HSE Site Coordinator

Flowserve is seeking an HSE Site Coordinator for a full-time position in Dammam, Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia. This role is crucial for driving a strong safety culture and ensuring operational compliance across facility operations. The HSE Site Coordinator will focus on maintaining workplace safety standards, leading continuous improvement initiatives, managing incident reporting, coordinating safety training, and ensuring full compliance with local Saudi Arabian HSE legislation and Flowserve corporate standards. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high levels of housekeeping and implement and sustain 5S practices within the facility, conducting quarterly 5S audits.
• Perform daily safety walk-through inspections, report findings to immediate supervisors, and log them in Sphera.
• Review local HSE standards and communicate requirements to immediate supervisors and top management.
• Conduct monthly HSE committee meetings and weekly toolbox meetings, providing necessary reports.
• Report all Near Miss, First Aid, Loss Time, environmental, fire, and vehicular incidents to Sphera, encouraging all site associates to report observations.
• Review all reports in Sphera and regularly update the HSE RAIL.
• Manage environmental, health, and safety activities through leadership, communication, motivation, and direction of the safety committee.
• Conduct rigorous incident investigations focused on prevention, root cause analysis, and injury prevention leading indicators.
• Coordinate safety training for all employees on Safety, Health, and Environmental matters.
• Develop and administer New Hire Orientation Safety Training.
• Investigate and maintain records for all work-related injuries and illnesses, provide statistical analysis, and assist department management in developing effective health and safety countermeasures.
• Serve as co-chair on the Joint Health and Safety Committee, coordinating activities, recommendations, and accountability for issues identified by safety regulations and Flowserve corporate audits.
• Conduct monthly workplace safety audits, establish measurable standards for continuous improvement recommendations, and ensure effective follow-up.
• Coordinate emergency evacuation procedures, training, and practice drills.
• Ensure all environmental reports related to air, storm water, and sanitary sewer discharge permits are submitted accurately and on time.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) role.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain safety standards and compliance.
• Experience with incident reporting and investigation processes.
• Familiarity with local Saudi Arabian HSE legislation and corporate safety standards.
