ILI Field Specialist (In line Inspection)

About the Role

Baker Hughes is seeking an ILI Field Specialist (In-line Inspection) to join the Process & Pipeline Services (PPS) team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time role involves supporting all phases of pipeline integrity and mechanical cleaning projects, both at base and client locations. The Field Specialist will utilize specialized equipment and ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards.

Role Context and Contribution

The Process & Pipeline Services team supports the full lifecycle of customer assets, from pre-commissioning to decommissioning, with the aim of reducing corrosion, improving efficiency, and maximizing throughput. This role contributes to delivering engineered solutions for commissioning and maintenance shutdowns across the oil and gas, power generation, metals, and mining industries. When not engaged in project work, the specialist will focus on equipment maintenance, housekeeping, and training.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-job tasks including scope development, equipment checks, client communication, travel arrangements, packing, crew coordination, and dispatching work orders.
• Execute on-site duties such as personnel management, conducting safety meetings, preparing reports, maintaining equipment, pig launching/tracking, line locating, AGM deployment, pipeline cleaning, and project supervision.
• Complete post-job tasks including equipment maintenance, packing/unpacking, reporting, demobilization, and time/expense documentation.
• Assist with the setup, repair, cleaning, rigging down, repacking, and unpacking of equipment.
• Maintain equipment, ensure good housekeeping, manage debris, and support environmental protection efforts.
• Participate in safety meetings, identify and report hazards, adhere to HSE policies, and support audits, training, and campaigns.
• Travel to remote sites as required, support company projects, and represent Baker Hughes professionally.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in using mechanical cleaning decoking trucks and electronic equipment such as geophones, receivers, transmitters, laptops with tracking software, line finders, and survey tools.
• Prior experience in decoking, ultrasonic testing (UT), or in-line inspection (ILI) is highly preferred.
• Strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and HSE standards.

Work Environment
