About the Role

Siemens Energy is seeking a Logistic Operator to join their team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time role is suitable for candidates with a foundational background in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields, particularly those with hands-on experience in shipping and transportation. The Logistic Operator will coordinate shipments, prepare documentation, and ensure the timely movement of materials and equipment, directly impacting operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipment activities in line with delivery schedules and operational requirements.
• Arrange shipment bookings with approved freight forwarders and transportation service providers.
• Track shipment progress and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare, collect, and maintain shipping documents and logistics records, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Support customs clearance activities by coordinating with customs brokers and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Warehouse, Production, and Project teams to ensure material availability and delivery requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience required: 0-1 year in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience in shipping and transportation is preferred.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team culture.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
• Commitment to compliance and safety standards.

This role is part of the Grid Technology division, which focuses on enabling a reliable, sustainable, and digital grid. The team contributes to Siemens Energy's portfolio and solutions in HVDC transmission, grid stabilization and storage, high voltage switchgears and transformers, and digital grid technology.
