Role Overview: Machine Shop Floor Supervisor

Nabors Industries is seeking a Machine Shop Floor Supervisor to join our team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to production personnel while overseeing daily machine shop operations to ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to all production floor personnel.
• Communicate job expectations, production priorities, and performance standards effectively.
• Coach, mentor, and develop employees to enhance performance and productivity.
• Address employee concerns and resolve workplace conflicts professionally.
• Promote teamwork and maintain a positive work environment, conducting regular production meetings.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily machine shop operations, assigning work and allocating resources to maximize productivity.
• Monitor production schedules to ensure on-time completion of work and maintain efficient material flow throughout the facility.
• Ensure workstations are adequately supplied with necessary materials and tools.
• Monitor employee productivity, workflow efficiency, attendance, work hours, breaks, and shift schedules.
• Oversee shipping and receiving activities related to shop operations.
• Ensure all products meet company and customer quality requirements, monitoring processes to maintain standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and ensure compliance with quality management systems.
• Communicate with customers for the collection of jobs.
• Ensure machinery, equipment, and tools are maintained in good working condition, coordinating maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Monitor housekeeping standards across the production floor and warehouse.
• Optimize shop layout and workflow to improve efficiency and throughput.
• Ensure employees possess the required skills and certifications to perform duties safely and effectively.
• Maintain accurate production and operational records and support audits and regulatory inspections.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. A Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years of machine shop or manufacturing experience is required. Candidates must have a minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Experience in CNC machining, threading, oilfield equipment, or holding a Premium license is preferred.

This full-time position is based in Dammam, Eastern Region.
