About the Role

Dammam Airports is seeking a Modification & Minor Projects Landsides professional to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role focuses on executing small-scale maintenance and modification projects within the landside areas, ensuring timely completion, compliance with safety and legal requirements, and minimal disruption to public areas and facilities. The position requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with stakeholders during the budget approval process and secure necessary resources for landside projects.
  • Oversee the daily execution of landside projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Ensure project compliance with safety, environmental, and security standards through regular site inspections.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, such as terminal management and parking services, to align project timelines with operational needs.
  • Monitor contractor performance to ensure quality work and compliance with all project requirements.
  • Coordinate project technical submittals with the engineering team and issue necessary work permits.
  • Review and approve contractor invoices in line with deliverables and payment terms.
  • Manage changes in project scope, schedule, or costs, implementing and documenting mitigation strategies.
  • Apply Dammam Airports' change management procedures for variation orders, securing stakeholder approvals.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including safety reports, quality records, and progress updates.
  • Provide regular project reports to stakeholders and senior management, ensuring transparency.
  • Ensure proper archiving of all project records in Dammam Airports' database, including final reports and documentation.
  • Ensure project closeout activities, including submission of warranties, performance bonds, and other necessary documentation.
  • Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover processes with stakeholders to ensure full operational readiness.

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Lead project teams, including contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders, fostering collaboration and conflict resolution.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment, sharing knowledge and promoting continuous improvement among team members.

Stakeholder and Risk Management

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure their requirements are met.
  • Develop communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed about project progress and resolve any issues.
  • Ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations to avoid disruptions in landside operations.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are maintained.
  • Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal impact on landside operations.

Continuous Learning

  • Work closely with team members, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning to enhance project execution.
  • Attend training sessions and stay updated on industry trends, improving skills and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of project management techniques.
