About the Field Operator Role

This full-time position for a Field Operator is based in Dammam. The role is responsible for managing work permit clearances in the field and ensuring personnel and equipment safety by halting operations when hazardous conditions are identified.

Core Responsibilities

The Field Operator will be tasked with a range of duties focused on operational safety and compliance. This includes understanding the basic operational behavior, safe start-up, and shutdown procedures for all plant equipment. Adherence to safety regulations and maintaining a clean work area are paramount. The role also involves following specific job-related safety instructions, reporting any damaged personal protective equipment (PPE), and alerting relevant staff to unsafe machinery or equipment. Maintaining the provided PPE in good working condition is essential, as is avoiding any horseplay or misuse of safety devices, equipment, and welfare facilities. Prompt reporting of accidents, near misses, or hazardous conditions to the responsible personnel is required, along with active participation in scheduled safety training sessions.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E)

A key aspect of this role is the understanding and adherence to the organization's HS&E policies. Field Operators are empowered with the authority to refuse any unsafe work, ensuring a proactive approach to workplace safety.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 2-5 years
• Basic computer knowledge is required.
