Planning Engineer

About the Role

HUDSON is seeking a Planning Engineer for a full-time position in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This role is for a reputable Oil & Gas Company, focusing on workshop requirements related to the manufacturing of pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and pipings.

Role Overview

The Planning Engineer will manage the fabrication, welding, and assembly processes for various industrial components. This includes interpreting engineering drawings, overseeing workshop operations, and ensuring compliance with quality and HSE standards. The position requires strong capabilities in project planning and management using ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the fabrication, welding, and assembly of pressure vessels, tanks, and heat exchangers.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Supervise workshop operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations.
• Handle ERP-based project planning and scheduling.
• Track consumption of materials and manage vendor relationships.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated experience in Oil & Gas fabrication.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project is essential.
• Strong ERP skills.
• Proven leadership capabilities.

Compensation

The salary for this position ranges from SAR 3000 to SAR 8000, based on experience.
