About the Opportunity

Procter & Gamble is seeking a Plant Operator & Electrician to join our team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time role is integral to our Production, Service & Transportation (PST) job family, which is responsible for the physical creation and delivery of our products to consumers in optimal condition.

Role Purpose and Scope

As a Plant Operator & Electrician, you will provide essential electrical maintenance and operational support for our diverse packing lines. This position ensures the efficient and reliable operation of both manual and automated packing systems, including machine and robot-assisted processes. The successful candidate will act as a System Owner or Equipment Owner for their designated area, working collaboratively within a team to achieve production goals, maintain product quality, and contribute to a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on a wide range of packing equipment, including conveyors, labeling machines, packaging machines, and robotic systems.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues related to Rockwell Automation PLCs, including programming and troubleshooting.
• Work with Allen-Bradley (AB) Frequency Inverters, including setup, troubleshooting, and replacement.
• Identify and replace faulty electrical panel components, demonstrating the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
• Troubleshoot and maintain pneumatic circuits as they relate to packing equipment.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to optimize production processes and minimize downtime.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

Candidate Requirements

• Saudi National.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree.
• Willingness to work on a shifting schedule.
• Demonstrated strong technical, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Arabic and/or English language.

Work Environment and Schedule

This role operates within a dynamic production environment in Dammam, requiring active participation in a team setting. The position involves working on a shifting schedule to ensure continuous operational support for the packing lines.
