About the Role

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Product Specialist Immunology to join our team in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position where the specialist will represent the company to healthcare professionals, ensuring products are utilized based on their clinical indications and merit, while adhering to all J&J Credo obligations.

Key Responsibilities

The Product Specialist will be responsible for maximizing patient share for assigned products within the designated territory. This includes:

  • Utilizing a multichannel approach (face-to-face, email, phone calls, presentations) to engage with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) according to the CVT strategy, providing quality call feedback for each interaction.
  • Achieving market share targets for the assigned territory.
  • Promoting Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine's image as a scientific and digital innovator within assigned accounts and organizing promotional/digital scientific meetings.
  • Maximizing product access by detailing product value to serve eligible patients, in collaboration with other functions.

Market Access and Operational Excellence

The role involves enhancing market access and ensuring high standards of execution:

  • Conducting full account mapping, understanding logistical and product listing processes, contracting, identifying account stakeholders, and decision-making processes.
  • Developing and maintaining long-term engagements with key customers and stakeholders within accounts, such as Directors of Pharmacy, Senior Procurement Managers, Tender Managers, and Hospital Management.
  • Identifying short and long-term business opportunities in alignment with the Business Unit strategy and in collaboration with the Market Access team.
  • Fulfilling Customer Interaction Excellence (CIE) index and KPIs, including database updates, accurate reporting of HCP visits with valuable feedback, correct sample handling, and continuous qualitative performance improvement.

Knowledge, Compliance, and Professional Conduct

Maintaining up-to-date knowledge and adhering to strict compliance standards are integral to this position:

  • Achieving expected results in scientific quizzes organized by the CVT.
  • Attending all assigned training courses, capturing learnings, and demonstrating improvement in technical and ethical business practices.
  • Organizing assigned activities in compliance with all rules and utilizing the correct CRM system as per SOPs.
  • Ensuring all sales processes adhere to J&J compliance, Quality guidelines, and local laws, including HCBI guidelines, FCPA, business conduct policy, pharmacovigilance rules (Adverse Events & Product Quality Complaints notification), and global fleet safety standards.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
  • A solid understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
