Job Description

About the Role

Al Tuwairqi Group is seeking a Senior Inspector, QA to join their team in Dammam. This full-time role involves critical quality assurance functions, including inspecting samples, performing detailed measurements, and ensuring adherence to quality control processes. The Senior Inspector, QA will be responsible for identifying and reporting discrepancies while upholding safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect samples provided by the sampler to confirm suitability for testing.
  • Request fresh samples promptly in the event of any discrepancy.
  • Weigh samples and accurately calculate metrics such as weigh/meter and percentage under.
  • Immediately inform the main pulpit and relevant Shift Foremen QA via phone for corrective action if values are beyond or very close to UCL/LCL; otherwise, enter values in the designated format.
  • Conduct detailed measurements including rib height, diameter, space, and surface quality.
  • Notify the pulpit/Production shift in charge for corrective actions when discrepancies are identified.
  • Enter operational parameters such as thermex pressure, mill speed, and water temperature into ****************, based on information received from inspectors.
  • Print tags and hand them over to the Production department.

Health, Safety & Environment Responsibilities

  • Understand and comply with all organizational HS&E policies.
  • Adhere to safety instructions pertinent to assigned tasks.
  • Report any damaged Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), unsafe machines, or equipment to the appropriate staff.
  • Maintain provided PPE in good, workable condition.
  • Refrain from horseplay and misuse of safety devices, equipment, and welfare facilities.
  • Report all accidents, near misses, or hazardous conditions to the responsible personnel.
  • Attend all scheduled safety trainings.
  • Exercise the right to refuse any unsafe work.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance or inspection roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform detailed measurements and quality control checks.
  • Proficiency in identifying and reporting discrepancies.
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Dammam. The role requires consistent presence and engagement within the quality assurance team.
