About the Role

Apave is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to join its team in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for driving new business development and achieving assigned sales, order intake, and revenue targets for Prime Apave’s Dammam Testing Laboratory. The position focuses on acquiring new clients, identifying testing opportunities, and expanding existing accounts across Mechanical & Metallurgical Testing and Chemical & Environmental Testing services.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales, order intake, and revenue targets for the Testing Laboratory.
• Generate new clients, projects, RFQs, and commercial opportunities through direct prospecting, client visits, networking, and market development.
• Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation and qualification through quotation, negotiation, and award.
• Develop new accounts, reactivate inactive customers, and pursue recurring testing programs and long-term contracts.
• Identify projects at early stages and map relevant stakeholders including project owners, EPC contractors, and consultants.
• Support vendor registration, client prequalification, and approved supplier registration with major industrial clients.
• Coordinate with the laboratory technical team to ensure proposed services are technically feasible and within accreditation scope.
• Identify potential opportunities for expanding laboratory capabilities based on client demand.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and client feedback.
• Analyze lost opportunities and provide market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and emerging business opportunities.
• Maintain approved pricing and margin requirements while pursuing sales growth.

Laboratory Services Portfolio

The Senior Sales Executive will promote Prime Apave’s comprehensive laboratory services, including:

• Mechanical and materials testing
• Metallurgical examination and failure analysis
• Welding procedure and welder qualification testing
• Corrosion and material testing
• Chemical analysis
• Water and wastewater testing
• Environmental monitoring (ambient, indoor air, stack emission, noise)

Target Industries and Stakeholders

The role involves targeting relevant industrial sectors and building relationships with key decision-makers. Target sectors include:

• Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Steel, Pipe & OCTG
• Manufacturing, Fabrication, Welding, EPC Contractors
• Power, Water & Wastewater, Desalination
• Cement, Mining, and other industrial facilities

Key decision-makers include QA/QC, HSE, Environmental, Laboratory, Materials, Welding, Engineering, Procurement, and Project Management teams.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales or business development experience, with proven direct experience in selling laboratory testing services.
• Experience in mechanical/materials, metallurgical, chemical, environmental, or industrial testing laboratories is required.
• Demonstrated track record of generating new clients, developing testing opportunities, and achieving sales targets.
• Good knowledge of the Saudi industrial market, particularly Dammam, Al Jubail, and the Eastern Province, is preferred.
• Existing relationships with industrial manufacturers, EPC contractors, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or major project stakeholders in Saudi Arabia are advantageous.
• A valid driving license and willingness to conduct frequent client, factory, and project visits are essential.

Location and Reporting

This position is based in Dammam, within the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, and is primarily dedicated to developing business and achieving commercial targets for Prime Apave’s Testing Laboratory. The Senior Sales Executive reports directly to the Business Development Manager and will work closely with both the Business Development Manager and the laboratory technical teams.
