About the Role

Aloula Aviation is seeking a Sr Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role involves providing work direction to a crew performing highly skilled, specialized maintenance on company aircraft and associated support equipment within the Aviation Department. The incumbent will act as a specialist in one of several aircraft maintenance fields, ensuring adherence to Company and * FAA Regulations.

Role Context and Responsibilities

The Maintenance Division is responsible for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and modification of Aramco’s aircraft, aviation equipment, ground support equipment, shop equipment, and certain airport facilities. This maintenance must consistently meet high standards, manufacturer’s recommendations, and detailed FAA regulations. The role requires direct involvement with sophisticated aircraft systems, demanding knowledge and application of specialized techniques. The Aramco fleet supports high-priority Executive, Drilling, Medical, Safety, Government Relations, and other Aramco activities. The Sr Aircraft Maintenance Technician performs routine and non-routine assignments, provides work direction to a small crew with limited supervision, and focuses on work coordination, scheduling, and progress. All work is subject to FAA airworthiness inspection.

Key Duties and Tasks

  • Participate in aircraft maintenance checks, functional checks, and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Perform or assign personnel for duties requiring special skills, including overhauls of hydraulic units associated with fleet aircraft systems.
  • Execute overhaul, rebuild, and repair of aircraft structures, and fabricate sheet metal parts according to drawings.
  • Perform functional checks and inspect accessories and unit turbo-prop engines.
  • Conduct aircraft electrical system repairs, troubleshooting, and modifications.
  • Direct crew members in highly skilled craft maintenance work, such as machinist work and building new or overhauled propellers per specifications.
  • Perform upholstery work, including sewing or assembling aircraft interior items like seats and seat covers.
  • Conduct weekly safety and communication meetings.
  • Serve as line crew to service, inspect, and repair aircraft systems and engines.
  • Perform paint stripping as required for refreshing or corrosion inhibiting.
  • Direct and train a crew of 2-6 people in all phases of work.
  • Ensure completed work assignments meet established specifications and standards for quality and quantity, coordinating with Unit Foremen for safe, timely, efficient, and economical execution.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in Aircraft Maintenance.
  • Special Field Experience: Aircraft Maintenance.
  • License: A license from an ICAO recognized state is required, with GACA A&P Licenses preferred.

Work Environment

This role is based in Dammam, Eastern Region, and operates on a full-time basis within the Aviation Department. The incumbent will work with a small crew, receiving limited supervision from a Unit Foreman, and will be subject to FAA airworthiness inspections.
