TAX Specialist

About the Role

Ajdan is seeking a TAX Specialist to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and involves supporting the Tax Department to ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations. The role focuses on preparing tax filings, maintaining tax records, assisting with tax reporting, and providing essential tax support to business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review VAT and Zakat returns, along with other applicable tax filings.
• Ensure full compliance with ZATCA regulations and tax requirements.
• Review invoices and transactions to confirm correct tax treatment.
• Assist in the preparation of tax reconciliations and various tax reports.
• Support tax audits, inquiries, and correspondence with tax authorities.
• Maintain proper tax documentation and supporting records.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and assess their potential impact on business operations.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve tax-related issues.
• Assist in VAT refund applications and tax compliance projects.
• Support month-end and year-end tax reporting activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in tax-related roles.
• Demonstrated understanding of tax laws and regulations, particularly ZATCA requirements.
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing tax filings such as VAT and Zakat returns.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, within the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia. The role involves working collaboratively within the Tax Department and coordinating with other internal departments.
