About the Role

Manufacturing Plant - KSA is seeking a dedicated Unit Project Manager to join our team in Dammam. This full-time role is central to leading and managing Unit Project Managers (PMs) and Project Leaders (PLs) to ensure the successful execution of all Unit’s Projects, in alignment with the overall Projects Vision and Goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Unit Project Managers and Project Leaders in the successful execution of projects.
• Ensure the effective implementation of established procedures by Unit PMs and PLs.
• Assure effective contract review, contract summary updates, and the smooth transfer of ownership from proposals to projects.
• Review and challenge internal reports, contract summary updates, project KPIs reports, and project critiques.
• Ensure the project’s ‘Letter of Good Performance’ is obtained and client satisfaction questionnaires are completed.
• Oversee the cost-effective closure of all client claims related to the unit's projects.
• Ensure project risks are effectively identified and mitigated.
• Assign Project Managers and Leaders to specific projects.

Project Process and Resource Management

• Ensure the effective implementation of procedures related to interfaces management, invoicing, and bonds issuance by the Unit PMs.
• Assure the availability of necessary resources for procedure execution and audit their proper implementation.
• Ensure the overall implementation of the Projects Process by the Unit PMs.
• Guarantee the availability of resources for the execution of projects according to all established procedures.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

The Unit Project Manager acts as the department representative to auditors, clients, and third parties. This role involves managing internal communication according to the matrix organization structure and overseeing external communication with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and other third parties.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in project management, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
