About the Opportunity

King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) invites applications for full-time faculty positions in the Chemistry Department. These roles are available at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor levels and are based in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Areas of Specialization

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to quality education and student interaction. Core responsibilities include:

• Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Chemistry.
• Advising and mentoring students at various academic levels.
• Supervising Master of Science (MS) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) theses and dissertations.
• Developing and securing funding for research programs relevant to their field of specialization.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for these faculty positions:

• An earned ** from a reputable institution.
• A strong record of published research in peer-reviewed venues.
• Demonstrated experience in supervising the research of graduate students.
• Relevant teaching experience at the university level.
• Teaching and/or industrial experience in one of the specified areas of specialization.

Compensation and Campus Environment
