About the Position

King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in Dhahran is seeking qualified Saudi nationals for faculty positions within the Department of Physics. This role is focused on both research and teaching activities.

Role Overview

The Department of Physics is looking for candidates holding a PhD degree to contribute to its academic and research endeavors. The position is full-time and requires a commitment of approximately 35-40 hours per week. The medium of instruction at KFUPM is English.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting research in the field of Physics.
• Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses.
• Providing academic advising to students.
• Undertaking assigned administrative duties within the department.
• Fulfilling other academic responsibilities as assigned by the department.

Qualifications and Experience

• An earned PhD degree from a reputable university in a relevant field of Physics.
• Full-time Bachelor's and Master's degrees with very good grades.
• Certificate equivalency is required if academic qualifications were obtained outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
