About the Role

Arabian Drilling Co. is seeking a skilled Derrickman to join its operations team in Dhahran. This full-time position is integral to ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of drilling rig operations within the Operations Department.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Derrickman plays a critical role in the maintenance and operation of the drilling rig's derrick. This includes responsibility for the upkeep, operation, and maintenance of the derrick itself, along with associated equipment and tubular handling tools used during drilling. The role also encompasses operating and maintaining solids control equipment, contributing significantly to successful well completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all necessary derrick operations.
• Conduct routine and preventative derrick maintenance.
• Adhere strictly to all established safety protocols.
• Manage the mud system and solids control equipment effectively.
• Execute various drill floor operations as required.
• Foster teamwork and maintain effective communication within the rig crew.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a drilling company.
• Proven practical experience working directly on drilling rigs.
• Possession of a High School Certificate.
