About the Role

King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals is seeking a Graduate Assistant in Mathematics to join the Department of Mathematics and Statistics in Dhahran. This full-time position is open exclusively to Saudi nationals holding a bachelor's degree, with 0-1 years of experience. The role focuses on supporting both research and teaching activities within the department.

Key Responsibilities

The Graduate Assistant will be expected to dedicate approximately 35-40 hours per week to professional duties. These responsibilities include:

• Carrying out teaching assignments as required by the department.
• Conducting research activities within the field of mathematics.
• Providing academic advising to students.
• Performing administrative duties as assigned.
• Undertaking any other academic duties designated by the academic department.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants for this position must meet the following criteria:

• Possess an earned bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in a relevant field.
• Hold a full-time bachelor’s degree with very good academic grades.
• Provide a certificate equivalency if the bachelor's degree was obtained from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
