Arabian Drilling Co., a prominent leader in the offshore drilling sector, is seeking a highly experienced Offshore Installation Manager for a full-time position based in Dhahran. This critical role involves leading and overseeing all operational aspects on offshore rigs, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency within a demanding environment.

The Role of Offshore Installation Manager

As the Offshore Installation Manager (OIM), you will serve as the Man in Charge (MIC), holding primary responsibility for the safety, efficiency, and profitability of the project. This role demands strict adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and best practices. The OIM oversees and manages all resources on the rig, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to ensure the successful execution of drilling operations, maintenance activities, and robust Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) protocols. This encompasses comprehensive asset management and protection, safeguarding the integrity of the rig and its equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure strict adherence to all applicable Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) protocols and company standards.
• Oversee and manage all drilling operations and maintenance activities on the offshore rig.
• Manage the financial aspects of the project, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
• Oversee and manage all manpower on the rig, fostering a productive and safe working environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 12 years of experience in offshore drilling operations.
• Proven knowledge and extensive experience within the offshore oil and gas industry.
• Familiarity with top drive equipment and AC drive Jack up rigs.
• High School Technical Degree in Drilling Technology.

Required Certifications

• Valid IWCF or IADC well control certificate – Supervisor Level.
• Possession of an OIM License.
