About the Role

Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) is seeking a Senior Physical Therapist to join our team in Dhahran. This full-time position involves delivering therapeutic interventions across various settings, including in-patient, out-patient, and home care environments. The role focuses on restoring physical function and improving the quality of life for patients.

Role Purpose and Impact

The primary objective of this role is to help patients regain body movements and agility, manage movement disorders, alleviate pain, and prevent disability resulting from diseases, injuries, or lifelong conditions. The Senior Physical Therapist plays a crucial role in enabling individuals with physical limitations to achieve a relative level of normalcy and active participation within their community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive physical therapy examinations for patients presenting with advanced and complex medical needs.
  • Provide direct and complete physical therapy services, including advanced skilled and complex interventions, for a diverse range of illnesses, impairments, and disabilities.
  • Deliver specialized physical therapy in specific areas of practice such as Neurology, Women's Health, Musculoskeletal (MSK), and Post-operative rehabilitation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • An International Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Classification as a specialist by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in physical therapy.

Required Certifications

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Completion of at least two certificates in recognized physical therapy management methods (*, Kenesio Taping Technique, Mulligan Technique, Dry Needling, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF)).
  • At least one of the aforementioned certificates must be focused on a specialized patient population within physical therapy (*, Sports Medicine, Pelvic Floor, Post-operative Rehabilitation, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), Motor Relearning).
