  • Support pre-commissioning and commissioning teams by validating firewall rules, secure remote access, endpoint hardening, asset inventory, and access control execution.

  • Verify and approve third-party device access requests from subcontractors and vendors.
  • Coordinate with vendors and the Air Products engineering team to resolve punch list items identified during field verification.

  • Prepare weekly progress updates and dashboards for project leadership.
  • Identify and escalate risks and opportunities, and collect lessons learned.
  • Support Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity handovers, including procedures, asset inventories, access management, and incident response.
  • Contribute to the OT Cybersecurity Operations Model, covering monitoring, patching, backup, disaster recovery, and secure remote support.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, or Process Automation preferred) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in Operational Technology (OT) or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience specifically focused on designing, building, or validating cybersecurity for industrial control systems and networks.
  • Proven project implementation experience with Saudi cyber standards (HCIS, NCA, CRA), ISA 62443, and relevant industry regulations and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of control systems (SCADA/DCS/PLCs) and relevant protocols (Modbus, PROFINET, DNP3, IEC61850).
  • Familiarity with key cybersecurity technologies including Firewalls, IDS, Anti-Virus, and Vulnerability assessments in ICS/OT environments.
  • Relevant OT/ICS cybersecurity accreditations such as ISA/IEC62443, SANS, or other internationally recognized certifications are preferred.
  • Additional cybersecurity certifications like CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 are advantageous.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate technical activities with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience supporting large-scale construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup phases.
